Your Credit Card must be activated before use via the First Citizens Mobile Banking App.
Activating your Credit Card
Your card must be activated before use. Activation is easy via the First Citizens Mobile Banking App and can be done in two simple steps.
Link your Credit Card to the Mobile App
- Log into the mobile app, tap on dashboard icon and select ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Manage Accounts’ and choose the card number (only the last four (4) digits of the card number will be displayed)
- Enable the account by selecting the slider icon to the right, ensuring that it turns green then tap update
Activate the Card:
- Tap on dashboard icon , select ‘Cards’ and choose the Mastercard Prepaid
- Select ‘Services’ and tap on ‘Activate’
- A screen will then appear to enter a One Time Password (OTP) which will be sent via SMS to your mobile number registered with us
- Once the OTP is entered correctly and validated, your screen will read ‘It’s done’ indicating that your card was successfully activated.
If you require additional support, you can send us a Secure Message via Online Banking by clicking the My Messages tab and select Send New Message; ensure the department selected is Credit Card Centre.
